FEEDBACKROOM is a dance performance in an interactive sound installation, which is also open for the public. Surrounded by speakers and bringing 2 lavallier HF microphones on his hands, a dancer creates by his movements a musical space only formed by feedbacks. The relationship between the body and the space becomes an instrumental gesture. The installation creates a situation of play, a confrontation and a lust -fragile or violent - with an invisible force filling the room. A real time sound application specifically created for the project analyses the frequencies and breath transmitted by the microphones, which become the control parameters of the feedbacks. It's the quality of the performer's gesture which attenuates or amplify the feedbacks he triggers in the space. Between the representations, the installation is open to the public, who can experiment it individually with a HF hand microphone.
