This project is in the process of exploring innovative ways of documenting, analysing and representing the work of Emio Greco | PC, with the aim of creating a unique system of dance notation, reconstruction and archiving of company repertory. In addition to research into the theory and history of live performance documentation, movement analysis and notation practices, various combinations of media tools and approaches will be explored including: written description; computer vision; video/ film documentation; graphic modelling/ visualisations; interactive media; motion capture; existing notation systems and additions to these. The audience are who we direct this project at, aiming to reach different ages and disciplines, inspiring them with new approaches around dance, dance transmission and creation which we hope could open doors to new relations between theory and practice.
